Epic Adventure Day 6

Barcelona was the destination today. We started the day at Sagrata Familia which was a church designed but never finished by Gaudi. We had hoped to go inside but the timetable didn't work. We did however go in the basement which was actually pretty spectacular. After that we headed to the Barcelona Cathedral. They were having mass so it was limited as to where we could go but still beautiful.

We had lunch and then went to a Placa Nova where the girls feed pigeons - a lot of them. Keara in fact wanted to be called th bird whisperer They had a blast.

We then headed down las rambles which was a beautiful shopping area. Gelato and art work were found everywhere. Zeb and I got some art work as did the girls.

At the end of las rambles was a statue of Christopher Columbus. Jus t as we made it there it started pouring rain. We ran for cover but there was no way to escape.  We were wet through and through. We managed to get a taxi to take us the rest of the way to the ship.

All in all it was a great day Loved Barcelona and would go back there anytime.
