TSA State

I love that Kailei continues to be a part of the Technology Student Association. She attended state conference for the second year and her team did well in coding. She’s doesn’t code but she does take care of the paperwork. I think she has a good time and will continue next year.  My heart skipped a beat at how grown up she looked in her skirt.

Keara's Birthday

Keara is not a fan of parties ,but that doesn’t stop us from celebrating. She turned 17 and we were all there to celebrate.

Chinese New Year Dance

JCCC Chinese New Year

This might be our last Chinese New Year with JCCC. I so love watching her dance, but I'm not sure I can convince her to continue with it.  She will have the opportunity to take Chinese language at one of the local high schools so we will no longer need to make the trek on Saturday mornings.  We have done it for over 10 years so we might not know what to do with the extra time either.

Celebrate the Arts

The feeder schools for Cherokee Trail got together to celebrate the arts. Artists, musicians and singers all came together for an evening of amazing talent.

MWCC CNY

Well the Peterson's have moved into a new house that is quite large and so we moved our annual Chinese new year party over to their place. It was great to see everybody and catch up with what everybody’s doing. The girls are getting way too big for my liking but I guess that happens.

Keara's First Flat

No car driver can go far without getting their first flat. Naturally, I was on the other side of town so we called in reinforcements. Uncle Mark to the rescue! It was not exactly an easy change because the car was very low to the ground but he showed Keara how to do it and earned a gold star for the day.

State Choir Concert

As was mentioned in the fall Kailei auditioned and made the state middle school choir. We are very proud of her. She practiced the songs at school and then they bring all the kids together for two days before the actual concert. So she has been downtown and enjoying singing the last few days. I think her voice might be going but she’s having a good time. They did a great job at the concert and again we were just so proud of her. She loves her music!
