Kailei’s Work Fort

Kailei is working for me this summer.  I always hire two students to help out and they do a lot of the grunt work.  While unpacking numerous boxes of computer they built a fort to reside in during their down time.

Caroline's parents and her sister were out for visit this summer.  Today we went bowling with them.

Kailei chopped off her long locks today.  I love the shorter hair on her!  We will see how long she keeps it.

Theater Date

Caroline enjoys the theatre as much as I do so I know I always have a partner in crime.  Nobody in the family wanted to see this show so Caroline got to join me.  It was pretty good I must say.

Evergreen

Went on a beautiful hike near Evergreen today.  Best part was when it clouded over because that sun can do me in.  I know Zeb enjoyed it.  It's his happy place.

Adopteen

Dropped Kailei off at Adopteen camp today.  She will be there for most of the week.  None of her friends from up here went so she was a little nervous, but I think it will be fine in the end.  Great opportunity for those that have been adopted to be together.

Colorado Springs

After dropping Kailei off at Adopteen Camp, Keara and I decided to do a little sight seeing in Colorado Springs.  We attemped to see what I thought was a castle but turned out to be some religious camp and you needed reservations to see the castle.  We managed a picture and had a good laugh.  We did go to the Olympic Training Center which was very cool. I highly recommend going there if you have never been.

Last Day in Steamboat

Zeb headed out early this morning to get a hike in before we had to leave town.  After he returned, we went to the Alpine slide and then had lunch.  Had to head home after for piano and line dancing lessons.  Ran into some wicked hail storms on the drive back but we finally made it.
