Yep, It Finally Happened

Who knew there was someone out there just waiting for Mark? Apparently Caroline won his heart despite the fact they are continents apart. So happy for these two!!!

Theatre Date

Headed downtown with the hubby to see A Gentleman's Guide to Murder. We didn't know what to expect but both enjoyed it a great deal. Love getting out on the town with this handsome guy!

Chinese New Year

Had another great Chinese New Year's celebrating with our Chinese family friends. Girls are getting older. We used to have to plan activities for them. Now they entertain themselves and we parents can gab. They love getting their red envelopes and love spending the money even more.

Early Birthday Celebration

Got the family together to celebrate Keara's 15th birthday today. It's been a crazy day between basketball games and haircuts and getting ready for the party but once everyone was here, we had a great time. Keara got thrown into a snow pile by Uncle Mitch which was pretty enteraining.  We had a taco bar and a Harry Potter cake.  Keara got a camera, some jewelry, a lifeproof case for her phone since she dropped it in the toilet this week, some converse shoes and some money from Grandma.  I think she came out pretty good.

We had a plastic tablecloth on our table tonight and pretty soon we looked over and Keara has drawn this. Wish I had her talent.

JCCC Chinese New Year

Today was the JCCC Chinese New Year program. I've said it before but I always love this day. Absolutely love watching Kailei dance on stage. She so graceful. Phyllis came up. We had Grammy and Poppy there. We even had the privilege of having one of our friends from the Chinese restaurant we go to come and support Kailei. It was so very sweet. Another one for the books.

Girl time!

My friend Sheryl is sometimes hard to pin down but I love it when we get time together. Managed to get away for some coffee and much-needed catching up. Love this woman!

Snow Day!!!

We are getting spoiled with the amount of snow days we've had so far this year in Colorado. I didn't think it would happen but today we woke up and had another snow day. Gotta love snow days. I spent the day reading a book. Kailei bakee some chocolate chip cookies, Keara read her book and  managed to go out and shovel which is what led to the quote below. It's been a great day!
