My Spring Break

Keara is back at school and Kailei still has another week but this kicks off my spring break. I'm so excited!!!! No real plans but that's exactly how I want it.

One of the Good Ones

Had lunch with one of my favorite people today. Andrea and I went out to the House of Commons which is a tea place in downtown Denver. Was such a great way to kick off my spring break. She's such a wonderful person and makes me feel so good when I'm with her.

Spring Break

Spring break has started for the girls but I have to work unfortunately. One day Kailei came into work with me and helped me clean my office. On Wednesday I did take off and so we went to the museum with Grammy, Poppy, Nicholas and Sydney. Had a great time. Spent time looking at all the wildlife and then we went to the health exhibit. Keara had a birthday sleepover this week and then both girls went over to aunt Tracy's for a sleepover as well. That basically got them through week one.

Technology Student Association

This weekend was the technology student association state competition. The last few years I have chaperoned this group of students. I really enjoyed myself. It's a total nerd fest and I feel like I'm at home.

The girls joined me on Friday night because I entered Kailei  into the creativity challenge in partnership with a high school student. She was a little nervous to begin with but Elle made her feel right at home and did a great job of guiding her in her creativity challenge. They basically had to make the tallest tower out of balloons and tape. Kailei didn't even come close but the point is she had a great time. If they would have given out points for neatness, Kailei and Elle would have won. 😊
