Nic's Birthday

 Can't believe what a great young man this is.  So proud of you Nic and more than happy to celebrate another year with you.  As has been tradition, we had pizza at Big Bill's and then came back to Mom's for pie and cake.

 He is an indoor cat, and won't come out unless he has to. 

A Walk Amongst the Leaves

 Wanted to take advantage of the fall leaves so we headed towards the mountains.  Kailei didn't join us because it was "nature". The traffic was heavy so we pulled off into Georgetown and found an amazing park and walking path.  After a while Keara and I sat by the creek and read books while Zeb hiked some more.  Love days like this.

A Baby!

 This is one of my favorite students and we have kept in touch since she was in seventh grade.  Today she came home with her baby boy.  So excited for her and the journey ahead as a parent.

No More Braces

 Today the braces finally came off.  After two years of invisalign. and two years with metal braces she is finally free. 

Canyon

 With COVID we are limited in our activities.  Today we headed toward a canyon outside of Boulder for picnic.  It was very popular and we almost didn't get in.  Fortunately we did, and got to enjoy the sunshine, some reading by the river, a hike and some quality time.  Will do this again for sure.

Food Truck Dinner

 Notices on a walk that the neighborhood over was having food trucks on Tuesday nights.  We joined in the fun for dinner tonight.  Not the best food, but nobody had to cook so there was a plus.
