To Grandmother's House We Go

Took a chance and headed down to visit Grandma. It was a girls trip and Carolyn's first experience in the remote town of Walsh. We took her out to the cemetery and around the the town of Walsh which took 5 minutes.  It's an experience for sure.

Got a fire table this summer since we would be spending a lot of time around the house.  The smores are great (even though you can hardly find graham crackers anywhere these days).

Anniversary

No fancy anniversary dinner for this years event.  We did drive up Lake Dillon and had Subway lunch on a bench.  We then went into Breckenridge.  I always wanted to see this giant troll so we made it happen today.  Love this guy.

Kailei and Zeb have been working together on this project for her desk.  She designed it and together they have been building it.  I'm pretty impressed.  The final product will be painted black of course.  She did a great job.  They probably could have bought one, but the time together was priceless.

Walk with Kailei

Okay, so I may have bribed her to get outside more, but whatever works. She gets pain to $5 to walk for 30 minutes and makes sure that the walks are in 30 or 60 minutes increments and not in between.  Love our time together.
 

Pool Time

Got some more time at the pool.  I love to go there and read.  I think Keara does too.

Had a facetime chat with Andrea today.  I had to find out how she was doing with her pregnancy.  Wish we could have met in person, but facetime is better than nothing.
 

Covid Birthday Celebration

Restaurants were still closed in May, but today we got to celebrate our birthday as is tradition. We enjoyed dinner at The Melting Pot masks and all.  Lucky to still be friends with my high school buddy.

Wind Baromater

This is better in video but it was sure windy today.  Ricky's ears were flopping in the wind big time.  He was happy he was in the cart so he didn't really care.  He LOVES car rides.

Food Truck

Well this was an adventure!  So excited for the fish & chips food truck.  Line was at least 50 people long.  At some point the generator broke.  We were bummed.  I had sent Keara and Kailei to get some drinks so while we were waiting in line quite a few people left.  Couldn't decide where we should go for lunch.  Line got shorter.  We ended up being first in line and after waiting a little over 90 minutes total, they started the generator up.  We ordered our food and while we waited the generator stopped again.  Luckily, they were able to get us our food and it was sooo worth it.
