A Walk in the Garden

Lynn invited me to go on a walk and we met at the Botanic Gardens.  I was dressed to exercise - not for a casual walk in the gardens (embarrassing).  Still the company was grand.

A Visit from Texas Mom

I was supposed to go to Texas back in March for spring break, but COVID changed that.  I was so bummed.  Lucky for me, Mary and Mike had to make a visit to Colorado.  Miss my Texas family.

Kailei's 16th Birthday Celebration Covid Style

 

Had to think out of the box when celebrating Kailei's 16th birthday this year.  I wanted it to be memorable and my family and friends delivered.  We had a car parade and a Zoom call where she opened her gifts. She was surprised and I think it made it as special as it could be.

Didn't get to go out to eat much this year so pizza was a big deal.  We had a parking lot pizza most every week at Big Bill's NY Pizza.  I think my family thought I was crazy. The people who drove by us definitely thought so.

First Day of Junior Year

School is looking a little different this year.  Kailei will be attending school on Tuesday and Wednesday in person and then the rest will be online.  Everyone has to wear masks and things will be sanitized after each class. It's going to be different for sure.

There are Montains to Climb

 Zeb loves taking his nephews to hike a 14er.  Pretty sure they love it too being the outdoorsy teens that they are. Kailei and Sydney went too, but decided to hang near a lake at the bottom of the mountain.
