Can't start the year without going to the National Western Stock Show. The kids had Friday off of school so Zeb and I took it off as well and made a day of it. The rest of the Archer gang also went. We started by watching some of the draft horse show and then went to the rodeo. We have gone before but the girls didn't seem to remember so it was all new to them. They had a blast eating junk food and watching all the events. Kailei especially liked the "bullhorse". Mark was showing that evening so the adults went to view that while Zeb braved having all four kids and walked around the kid zone. It really was a great time. The hitch that Mark works for ended up taking fifth in the nation as well as a second in the eight horse hitch. He works pretty hard with all those horses so I think he was pleased.
