She Loves Me

Keara is not a very touchy person so when she put her head on my lap I ate it up.  Obviously I had Zeb take a picture to document the occasion. 

Basketball!

It's that time of year when basketball is at the middle school.  Kailei looks forward to it and considers herself a "basketball girl".  She always enjoys it and has the best attitude win or lose.  Gotta love it!

Halloween!

 

Halloween was not the same this year.  Sydney had gymnastics practice so Tracie and family were not able to come.  We sure missed them.  Wish our Texas cousins could have been with us.  Of course, that did not stop Kailei from making the rounds as a belly dancer.  It was great weather.  Keara and I stayed back to hand out candy (and eat lots too!)

Carving Pumpkins

Zeb and Kailei have a tradition of carving pumpkins.  Keara was not interested in joining in and I decided to just give the two of them some quality time together.  Kailei usually talks the entire time but I heard lots of laughter from both of them this evening.

Fun at the Zoo

This week has been absolutely gorgeous and today was no exception.  Decided to take advantage of it and head for the zoo.  Zeb joined us which made it even better.  Kailei's favorite part was feeding the birds.  I have to admit that was my favorite part as well. 

Adoptween

Adoptween kicked off this year with a trip to the Botanical Gardens down south.  They did the corn maze amongst a lot of other activities.  It was a beautiful day so I dragged Mom along and we walked around and then enjoyed reading our books in the Colorado sunshine.
