Once upon a time I attended P.L.U.M. (Pine Lane Up in the Mountains) when I was in 6th grade. And now Keara has participated in the traditional 6th grade adventure. She headed up to the YMCA Camp in Estes Park for 3 days and two nights. Honestly I wasn't sure she would want to go but she was very excited. They stayed in cabins and took classes such as Rock and Ice, Montane forest and Survival. Unfortunately the third day was when the family cold attacked her so she wasn't feeling well but she hung in there until she got home. When I got home from work she was asleep on the couch. She woke up enough to have some soup and then crashed again. Fortunately after this venture all the 6th graders have Friday off to recooperate so she was able to just focus on getting well.
