Every year around Christmas there is "cookie day". Started long ago when Lynn and I would get together and bake cookies and it has been a tradition ever since. I really look forward to it each year. Lets just say that working in a kitchen is not exactly our forte' but we sure have fun. We figure if half of everything we make turns out, we are doing good. Five hours of baking and we had piles of cookies (chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter, sugar, split seconds, chocolate, rice krispie treats, chocolate haystacks, gingerbread and peanut clusters).
The kids helped us for a short time. I think they only participate in hopes of getting to eat all the cookie dough but who can blame them. Nic and Sydney were over so joined in the festivities as well. Already looking forward to next year.
