Jeannie worked for me for years at Cherokee Trail and we had the best time together. We laughed lots, shared our frustrations and joys, and simply loved each other. She flew out from Arkansas for my retirement party and it meant the world to me. Shannon also worked for me for a short time and we were a great time together. Had to get together for lunch since she was still in town. Love these ladies!
I had the best retirement celebration organized by the best husband and friends. It was held after school at Two Penguins. It was so much fun to see everyone and to share this moment with them. I've been so blessed throughout my career. My friends MaryJo, Andrea, Judith, Paul and Michael all spoke such kind words. I was in tears most of the time of course. It's the people that I've worked with and the students that I've taught that made the last 30 years so special.
