Family Fun

Not exactly my cup of tea but sometimes we have to cave.  Went to the Bronco's training camp today.  Zeb loved it so it was all worth it. 

Nala's Pirate Eye

Poor Nala.  She tore her eyelid so the eye had to be removed today.  She was a trooper and the whole vet staff fell in love with her.  I got a patch for her just in case she gets embarrassed. 

Heritage Camp

I wish I knew how many years we've been attending Heritage Camp but here we are once again. This is Kailei’s last year in the middle school group.  This year my friend Beth talked me into doing the ice breaker for all the adults. I have to say I think it went pretty well. I was a little stressed but it appears it was for no reason. As usual Kailei had a great time.

Adopteen Camp

Just a few days after returning from Scotland Kailei was off to Adopteen Camp. This was her first camp away from home. As expected there were some ups and downs but overall she had a great time.

A Kidnapping

It isn't always easy to get the girls to agree to do anything so I had to resort to kidnapping them.  :)  I made them get up so we could go get some beignets at a restaurant I heard had them.  Well worth the drive. 

Then we took off to Estes Park.  We went up the gondola to the top of the mountain, walked through town, listened to a rising artist sing and play his guitar and simply enjoyed ourselves. 

I'll have to kidnap them again soon.

Fourth of July

Kicked off the 4th of July by going to the pool for a little while. It was a beautiful day and not too crowded. We invited the Trautman’s to celebrate with us as well as Mom, Dad, and Mark. Had a small barbecue and then  Mark helped us set off a few of our own fireworks. Good times.
