Lea Graduated!

After 8 weeks of puppy kindergarten Lea graduated.  We are proud of our little pooch and hope she doesn't forget everything she learned the minute we walk out the door.

Mommy/Daughter Date

Kailei went to see the musical Shrek today.  It was a fabulous show!  I really enjoyed it and enjoyed being with Kailei.  She insisted we go out to dinner after so I had to oblige and we ate at Carmine's on Penn (which just happens to be my favorite restaurant).  Love that both my girls enjoy going to the theatre.  Daddy and Keara get to go to the next show together.  I hope they have as much fun as we did.

Cookie Turkeys Again!

My one claim to fame is cookie turkeys.  I love to send them to the girls classroom each year as a special treat.  This year we had a large crowd over to help assemble them as well as make some for their own classrooms.  It is great fun but chocolate was everywhere!  That must be the sign of a good time, right?

Keara's Choir Concert

Keara has spent the last few months getting up early every Wednesday morning to attend choir practice at school.  She really seems to enjoy singing so this was perfect for her.  The culminating event was on Thursday night with a 4th, 5th, and 6th grade concert.  Keara did great and everyone was so proud of her.  Unfortunately it conflicted with the National Honor Society induction ceremony at my school so I was unable to attend but Grammy and Poppy were there to cheer her on as well as Zeb and Kailei.  I can't wait until her next one.

MWCC Dinner

It gets harder and harder to get my Mom's group together but I love when we can.  Managed to snag dinner out with Jeanne and Beth.  Enjoyed the company and conversation of both these ladies.

Treasure Island

Both girls auditioned for Treasure Island recently but Kailei was the only one to get a part.  She was very sweet in saying how sad she was that Keara wasn't going to be in it.  Naturally Keara was disappointed but this is one of life's little lessons I suppose.

Kailei is a seagull in the show.  Missoula Children's Theatre is the group that comes in and puts this all together in a week.  It is amazing what they can do and I enjoy the show every time.

Kailei is thrilled to be on stage and did a great job in the show.
