Our Easter Best or The Best Easter

Despite the weather we had a great Easter. Got up early and headed out to church. Enjoyed breakfast out (although Keara insisted I told her she could have candy for breakfast). We hunted eggs afterwards and then headed over to Grammy's house. As usual, Grammy spoiled the kids and then spoiled us with a great turkey dinner. Zeb's brother's family joined us as well so we had a good time. I personally ate too much but enjoyed every bite. I especially enjoyed watching the cousins play together. So fun when they all get along so well.

Chocolate!

After 40 long days, Keara is able to have candy again. Needless to say it didn't take her but a minute to dive into her Easter basket. Next year she said she will give up spinach for lent.

Dying Eggs

I swear that as the kids get older the mess gets bigger as we dye our Easter eggs. This year was no exception but you can't say we don't have fun. Grammy joined us and we managed to dye 36 eggs in record time. We missed not having Nic and Sydney with us but you can't have everything perfect. As usual, the kids did a great job and we can't wait for the Easter Bunny to hide them.

Chinese With Friends

Most every Saturday you can find Kailei, Lily and Catie at JCCC practicing their Chinese. This is the second year these girls have been in class together and it is fun for the parents as we chit-chat while we wait for them. We haven't been as good about taking pictures this year so decided to take a shot while we could. We love going to JCCC with our friends.

Cinderella

Well, there's nothing like coming back from Disneyland and getting another shot of Cinderella. Turns out the rec center was putting on the show so we got our tickets and headed for the "theatre" with friends. The show was full of kids that varied in age and the girls just loved it. We also managed to squeeze in a little dinner after the show. A little shot of culture for everyone. We were not short of volunteers to star in the next princess show.

Shari

People think I'm crazy. About once a month I travel to Greeley to get my hair done. I've been seeing Shari for about 24 years. She's been with me through college, marriage, kids and continues to be there as I grow grey. I now bring the girls and my Mom ventures up with us at times so it has become a girls day of sorts.

Shari is a great person and friend. I managed to snag a picture of her and the girls last time I was up there so wanted to share.

If you ever need a good haircut, I highly recommend her. :)
