Coronavirus Luck
We’re so lucky that this is happening now and not thirty
years ago
We’re so lucky that we have the internet to connect us to
information and entertainment
We’re so lucky that we have facetime to connect us to
loved ones
We’re so lucky that we have online tools and sites that
will keep our education going
We’re so lucky that we have nurses and doctors taking
care of us in these challenging times
We’re so lucky that we have grocery stores that work to
put items on the shelf that we often take for granted
We’re so lucky that we have so many smart people working
to do their best to eradicate this virus
We’re so lucky we can go outside and enjoy the fresh air
and not worry about bombs going off
We’re so lucky that there are so many good people in this
world offering to help in times of need
We’re so very lucky. Try to remember that in times when
you struggle.

Coronavirus
Well, the life has certainly changed quite quickly recently. The coronavirus that plagued China has made its way to the United States and to Colorado. Within a week we've seen schools extend their spring breaks, stores picked over, quarantines instituted and life as we know it change. It is a scare time, especially for our loved ones that are even more susceptable to the virus. Every precaution is being taken. Caroline's mom and sisteer were due to come visit and made the hard decision not to. Within two day of that decision, Trump banned all travel from Europe into the US. Grateful that they are home safe.
We are particularly concerned for Dad since when he gets sick, it is often quite bad. We are trying to keep him healthy.
Church is cancelled, events are cancelled and tomorrow the restaurants will close to indoor seating and provide carryout only. Seems so surreal. Seems like we are living a movie we once saw.
What I do know is that now more than ever we need to be kinder to one other, to help one other, to do what is necessary to curb the spread of this virus.

Choir Concert
Kailei had another one of her choir concerts today. Grammy and Poppy came and we are always so grateful to have them there supporting her. She did a great job as usual. Love that music fills her soul.

National Association of Esports Coaches and Directors
So, I've been in over my head with regard to esports this year. I have no idea what I'm doing so the learning curve is high. That said, I know I've provided a place for students who typically have not had one.
I was fortunate to be able to attend the NAECAD conference this weekend and loved it. Esports is new for everyone so I was happy to be there learning. I have a vision for the future now and
I hope it will come to fruition one day.
