"Where would you like to go to dinner?", asked Mom.
"Mcdonald's", said Kailei.
"I don't like Mcdonalds.", said Keara.
"Don't be silly." said Kailei. "Everybody likes Mcdonald's."

Keara's 10!

Oh man, I'm so not ready for her to be growing up so fast.  Double-digits...can you believe it?  I think she had a great birthday overall between parties with family and friends.  We did it up big this year with her friends and went to Jungle Quest.  She got to invite 10 friends to come and they had pizza and cake after climbing ropes and hanging on to zip lines.

The family party was just as nice.  All the Davison's and Archer's attended, as well as Lynn.  I made some homemade soup which would have tasted great had it not been 60 degrees that day.  Of course, we did have ice cream cake to cool us off.

Keara received many wonderful things but I think she is truly blessed by all the people that love her.  Thanks to all who helped us celebrate.

Keara's Family Birthday Party

Had the family birthday party for Keara yesterday. The Davison's and the Archer's got together to celebrate.  It was a beautiful day in February and I made soup. Not the best choice for such a hot day but who knew?  Fortunately we had ice cream cake to cook us off.  Keara was showered with many nice gifts and loved being the center of attention for the day.

 

Yet Another Show

Kailei loves the stage so once again she tried out for a show and got a part. This time she was a grumpy caterpillar that later turned into a butterfly in Sleeping Beauty. Her friend Lucy also made the show so the two of them had fun together.

MWCC Chinese New Year Party

As is tradition we had another Chinese New Year party with my MWCC group.  Crafts, videos, food and conversation filled the clubhouse near our home.  I'm pretty confident a good time was had by all.
