Therese and I

This is a picture of one of my good friends from school. She and I have traveled throughout the district together and it’s been such a blessing to know her. She's such a kind person and is amazing at her job. We’ve been walking buddies at lunch for the last 15 years and I’m sure going to miss her this next school year.  I had the pleasure of throwing her retirement party and now she will move on to enjoy the easy life.

8th Grade Awards Night

Thrilled to celebrate this eighth grader tonight as she received an award for being a part of the state middle school choir as well as for modeling characteristics that the schools value. Yep, she’s pretty great!

Kailei's Confirmation

 Kailei's journey of faith continued tonight as she made her confirmation. Grammy was her sponsor and we were all thrilled to share this moment with her.

Mother's Day

Another mothers day started off with a bang. The kids made me breakfast in bed (with a lot of help from their father). Keara made me a card, a recipe box and gave me a jar full of reasons why she loved me. Kailei made me a memory box and filled it with pictures from the past. So special. I'm so lucky! Love these girls!

Mother-Daughter Time

Couldn’t think of something to get mom for Mother’s Day so I decided we would just spend time together. Took mom to a movie and dinner. Simple, but fun.

End of Year Choir Concert

Kailei did a great job at the last choir concert of the year. She had so little and I was so so proud of her. I’m so happy that she enjoys her music so much.

 Finally had some time to go see my nephew play baseball. He’s quite the athlete.

Mary Jo

So my teaching mentor and one of my favorite people retired this year. Enjoyed celebrating with her. She was an amazing teacher and impacted so many kids and so many other teachers. The education world will not be the same.
