Halloween was not the same this year. Sydney had gymnastics practice so Tracie and family were not able to come. We sure missed them. Wish our Texas cousins could have been with us. Of course, that did not stop Kailei from making the rounds as a belly dancer. It was great weather. Keara and I stayed back to hand out candy (and eat lots too!)
This week has been absolutely gorgeous and today was no exception. Decided to take advantage of it and head for the zoo. Zeb joined us which made it even better. Kailei's favorite part was feeding the birds. I have to admit that was my favorite part as well. 
Adoptween kicked off this year with a trip to the Botanical Gardens down south. They did the corn maze amongst a lot of other activities. It was a beautiful day so I dragged Mom along and we walked around and then enjoyed reading our books in the Colorado sunshine. 
Kailei and I kicked off fall break with a movie. Obviously it was in 3-d but I can't remember what it was to be honest. Obviously had an impact on me (not). I remember Kailei saying she enjoyed it but it was not my favorite. 
Kailei's second game of the year. She even made a basket which was so great! She was sad her uncle wasn't there to see it but sent him a text message in Scotland that he owed her $2.
